This two-part conference delivers a focused analysis of how state legislation shapes communities, from policy intent to local outcomes. With statewide experts, city staff, and land-use professionals, the program examines Data Centers, Middle Housing, and Ag-to-Urban through concise micro-presentations and interactive roundtables.
SERIES ONE: State Policy Deep Dive
The session opens with rapid, five-minute presentations highlighting each policy area’s legislative objectives, core elements, and essential insights for stakeholders ahead of the legislative session.
After the presentations, attendees join rotating state policy roundtables. Through three 15-minute rotations, speakers engage with small groups for deeper discussions, focused Q&A, and expert insights on each topic. The session ends with closing summaries from each speaker, spotlighting major takeaways and expected legislative trends.
