Notably, he served as the instrumental Business Development Officer for the Maricopa County Industrial Development Authority. His pivotal role involved leveraging tax-exempt financing, facilitating down-payment assistance programs, and strategically directing community investments. His collaborative efforts with economic development agencies have enabled private companies to thrive and expand, significantly contributing to the region's prosperity.

Gregg's diverse career spans helping commercial borrowers during the Great Recession, running an aftermarket automotive parts company, and running a storage container business.

His academic achievements include a Magna Cum Laude LLM in Taxation from the University of San Diego (1993), a Cum Laude Juris Doctorate from the University of Notre Dame (1992), and a BS in Accounting from the University of Arizona (1989).
