Kelly Sandin is the Economic Development Manager for Discovery Oasis, a 120-acre biotech innovation development adjacent to world-renowned Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, Arizona. She serves as a catalyst for promoting and strengthening the growing economy in Greater Phoenix by attracting new businesses and supporting corporate expansions.
Prior to Mayo Clinic, Kelly was the Associate Director of Economic Development at Arizona State University where she was dedicated to advancing research, innovation, strategic partnerships, entrepreneurship, and economic development for more than 14 years. She oversaw business attraction and marketing efforts for the ASU Innovation Zones and managed the Global Growth Accelerator.
Avid internationalist, Kelly earned her ASU Certificate in Advanced Global Advocacy, is a member of the Worldly Women Collective, and sat on the Board of Directors for Global Ties Arizona. She specializes in helping international businesses soft-land in Arizona.
Kelly received her B.A. from the ASU Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication and her M.A. from the ASU College of Public Programs.
