About

Katelyn is a highly adaptable workforce development professional and writer with over a decade of experience across talent acquisition, program management, and communications. As an In-Demand Career & Apprenticeship Strategist with the Maricopa County Workforce Development Board, she leverages her expertise in building employer relationships, generating content ideas, and catalyzing community partnerships to spread the word about quality job opportunities across Maricopa County. 

Katelyn brings deep community ties and a wide network to all of her work. She serves on the boards for Phoenix nonprofit Hope’s Crossing and the African American Women’s Giving and Empowerment Circle. She is a former Vice President & Civic Engagement Chair for the Greater Phoenix Urban League Young Professionals and a 2020 Flinn-Brown Fellow.

In her spare time, Katelyn enjoys kayaking the Salt and Verde Rivers, visiting national parks, and outings with her two little ones. She's a fan of haikus, pedestrianism, and encouraging civic engagement.
