A founding partner of winslow + partners, Kali has over 13 years of experience working on numerous architecture, planning and interior design projects. These include adaptive-reuse, mixed-use residential, mixed-use office, hospitality, and educational projects. Her experience ranges from minor interior remodels to multi-million new construction projects including, urban designs and master plans.
With every project that comes through their doors she is deeply involved from the pre-design and programming stages through construction documents, to construction administration. This helps her design team ensure the client’s specific goals and needs are met. She is used to working in a hyper-collaborative environment from the beginning to the end (with the consultants, general contractor, and client). This hyper-collaborative environment supports the client in evaluating different options and ultimately identifying and developing the most appropriate and financially feasible solution.
Along with the firm's Senior Project Manager she leads the technology efforts through their 3D software (Archicad), using it as a design tool to review the design (with the client, general contractor, and consultants) at different stages of the design process. This enables a more efficient workflow with their consultants and general contractor and allows for a clearer design intent, that ultimately results in the project stay on time and on budget.
