Lunch & Learn: AI & The Future of Workforce Development
Thursday, August 13, 2026 (11:00 AM - 12:00 PM) (MST)
Description

Join AAED and the Arizona Office of Economic Opportunity (AZ OEO) for a virtual Lunch & Learn exploring how data-driven AI exposure modeling is reshaping the economic development landscape.
This session highlights AZ OEO's data-driven AI exposure risk model and how emerging technologies are reshaping occupations and regional labor markets. We'll share key findings from applying this model across industries and how exposure varies by role, wage trajectory, and growth potential — insights directly relevant to site selection, industry recruitment, and workforce readiness conversations with prospective employers. You'll hear how these insights can inform talent pipeline strategy, community competitiveness positioning, and employer engagement.
The Zoom link will be sent out to those registered prior to the event. This event is hosted in partnership with the Arizona Office of Economic Opportunity (OEO).
